Kathryn Shaw is the Ernest C. Arbuckle Professor of Economics at the Stanford University Graduate School of Business, and a Senior Fellow at the Stanford Institute for Economic Policy Research. Her research focuses on managing talent in high-performing organizations, and on worker productivity within firms.

Mitchell Hoffman is an Associate Professor of Strategic Management at the Rotman School of Business at the University of Toronto. His research focuses on worker hiring and on the determinants of labor productivity, drawing on insights from labor and organizational economics.
